Effective Speech and Language Therapy in East Kent
Initial appointments are normally offered within 14 days of the date of referral. I use a variety of standardised tests to assess the clients difficulty with speech-sounds, language or literacy. Following assessment the findings will be discussed with you and the best course of action agreed on. This may be advice on managing the problem, regular individual therapy or referral onto another professional. If I see you or your child for individual sessions all necessary materials will be provided so that you are able to work in between my sessions to consolidate and reinforce learning. Liaison with other professionals will be provided where appropriate.
